This course will benefit anyone who wants to work more deeply to take their assertiveness skills to the next level.

Do you sometimes find yourself agreeing when you don’t agree, saying yes when you mean no, feeling uncomfortable expressing your opinion and frustrated when dealing with aggressive and/or difficult people? Are you scared that if you are assertive, people won’t like you or think you’re aggressive? Do you want to be more confident and able to deal more effectively with your personal and professional life? If you answer yes to one or more of these questions, then this course is for you. Over the two days you will learn, through highly interactive and practical facilitation, how to be more assertive and confident in yourself and your abilities. Research shows that assertiveness training can enhance your self-esteem, reduce stress and improve performance, as well as making you happier, healthier and more successful.

  • Learning a set of skills, tools and techniques to become better communicators, including active listening, body language, questioning and rapport
  • Creating a Personal Development Plan to address real life communication challenges and growth opportunities
