With the global world trade and vast improvements in communication, the world is becoming borderless in terms product design, development and manufacturing. Established companies cannot just rely on tariff and duty to protect its inefficient industries, it will have to face the global competition and examine all possible routes in improving the product manufacturing cost. To get the optimum cost advantage of the final product, more efforts should be spent up front during the requirements, design and development phase where 90% of the product cost has been determined. The objective of the Value Analysis and Value Engineering cost is to capture this upfront opportunity to produce the right product for the right market.

Apollo Consulting Group has been invited by Alessa Group in Saudi Arabia to study their development process, and to provide a comprehensive training to their entire product team for the Value Engineering training. Through a comprehensive training the Alessa group was quite excited to get this training, and many interactive workshops have been customized for Alessa’s air conditioning environment. This includes all the product team from sales to design to manufacturing all having the same focus in getting the right product with the optimized design for the market. New product development concepts, tools and processes were introduced to the team to get the overall benefits of using the newly acquired knowledge.
